Poplar

Birch

Ash

Tough and flexible. It looks a lot like Oak but typically has a lighter, brighter tone. Great for things that need to take a beating

Cypress

Born for the water. It’s naturally resistant to rot, making it the best bet for siding, outdoor trim, or porch work

Maple

Solid, and rock-hard. We have the super durable stuff or “Ambrosia” maple, which has unique gray streaks if you want more character

White Oak

Hard, heavy, and resists water better than Red Oak. A solid choice for cabinets or floors that need to last a long time

Pine

This is Southern Yellow Pine, so it’s heavier and stronger than standard white pine. Great for sturdy tables and painted furniture

Hickory

The hardest domestic wood we stock. It’s incredibly tough and often has a “two-tone” mix of light sapwood and darker heartwood streaks.

Cedar

Naturally fights off rot and bugs. It handles the weather well, making it perfect for outdoor projects or fence posts

Walnut

Known for those rich, dark brown tones right off the saw. It works easily, looks great, and is the go-to for high-end furniture
