PINE, YELLOW

In the Southern United States, yellow pine refers to longleaf, shortleaf, slash, or loblolly pine. The southern yellow pine harvested from the farm is between 125-150yrs aged. These trees are classified as slow growth which means they are straight, relatively free of knots and imperfections, and have a very tight grain pattern making them a good candidate for furniture projects.
